Rediscover Desire and Connection
An 8-week therapy group for couples navigating mismatched sexual desires, emotional distance, or intimacy fatigue.
Join a small, supportive group of couples for a powerful therapeutic process led by two experienced therapists. In weekly 3-hour sessions, we’ll explore the roots of desire, build communication skills, and create space for erotic renewal—even in relationships that feel stuck.
Is this group right for me?
This group is for couples who:
- Feel a disconnect in your sexual desire levels—one wants more, one wants less
- Miss the erotic energy you once had, or feel like it was never quite there
- Are emotionally close but struggle to translate that into physical intimacy
- Have hit a recurring conflict: avoidance, shutdowns, or unproductive arguments about sex
- Want to grow together but don’t know where to start
- Feel alone in this challenge and are tired of managing it in silence
You might find yourself wondering…
- “Are we just incompatible?”
- “Why do I feel shut down—or pressured—all the time?”
- “Is it possible to want each other again, after everything?”
If these questions sound familiar, you're not alone.
This group offers a space to explore them with guidance, care, and connection—with other couples who are in the same boat.
Format and Practical Details
This is an eight-week in-person therapy group for couples, grounded in the model of Optimal Sexual Experiences developed by Peggy Kleinplatz. Instead of focusing on techniques or frequency, we’ll explore how to create the emotional, psychological, and relational conditions that allow for real intimacy and meaningful erotic connection.
-
8 weekly group sessions
3 hours each, in central Prague. Each session builds on the last. -
Maximum of 4 couples
A small group ensures depth, safety, and personalized attention. -
3 individual couple sessions
A one-hour intake with both therapists to understand your dynamic and set intentions. Two more sessions afterwards for integration. -
Co-led by 2 therapists
Louis Wauters and Andrea Nundy-Mala, both trained in relational, experiential, and body-oriented therapy. -
In-person only
This is not a drop-in or online group. It is an immersive, cumulative process. Your consistent presence matters. - In between sessions, we give homework assignments to ensure engagement.
(Please note that even though we engage in experiments and exercises, there will be no nudity nor sexual contact during the sessions)
What will we cover?
Each week centers around one of the core elements identified in research on optimal sexual experiences. These themes are not just discussed—they are experienced, explored, and embodied in the group space.
Week 1 – Presence
Learning to slow down, tune in, and become available to yourself and your partner in the here and now.
Week 2 – Authenticity
Exploring what feels true—beyond roles, expectations, or the need to please. Making room for your actual experience.
Week 3 – Communication
Practicing ways of speaking and listening that foster clarity, honesty, and deeper emotional connection.
Week 4 – Vulnerability
Moving toward emotional and erotic risk. Making space for the parts of you that are guarded, tender, or unsure.
Week 5 – Eroticism
Exploring the conditions that allow erotic energy to arise. Looking beyond technique or pressure into meaning, turn-on, and connection.
Week 6 – Curiosity & Play
Experimenting with lightness, exploration, and non-goal-oriented intimacy. Making room for pleasure and surprise.
Week 7 – Trust
Understanding how trust is built (or rebuilt) through emotional presence, clear boundaries, and attunement.
Week 8 – Touch
Closing with a return to the body. Exploring consensual, mindful touch—not as obligation or escalation, but as connection.

Why group therapy?
Our approach is unique in the sense that we diverge from the One Therapist, One Couple framework. We believe that in a group setting the support is tremendously increased and that the possibility to learn from one another’s struggles, motivations and successes is a treasure best not left unearthed.
There is room to share in the group, as much as you want to! Nobody will be forced to extend beyond their consensual limit, but we will challenge you to take risks.
Our approach is based on Yalom’s principles of group therapy and on the research of the Optimal Sexual Experiences team of Peggy Kleinplatz.
